What if children are the wrong age?

Our age groups are not fixed, so leaders have some discretion but it is best to attend a group relevant to your age. If there isn’t one, you could look at starting one to meet demand.

We have found that groups with wide age ranges tend to organically reduce the range over time - older ones get bored and leave, younger ones find the older kids too boisterous and leave. That's not to say that a confident Woodchip wouldn't enjoy Elfins, or someone who is technically a pioneer wouldn't get more out of Elfins. But its probably not a good idea to take an 'all comers' approach for everyone.

However you do it, make sure that you collect registration forms with children’s ages on.
