How hungry will you be?
A new role-play activity for secondary-school pupils to help raise their understanding of events that can have a large impact on people living in the developing world, especially people in conflict- or drought-prone areas. Through this activity, pupils appreciate how large numbers of people live on the edge of absolute poverty and under-development. The content is based on real-life case studies from West Africa.

Free Beat Poverty youth and schools pack
Based around Save the Children's Beat Poverty campaign, this free pack of materials (available online or in hard copy on request) helps teachers and youth workers to stimulate young people's interest in, and knowledge of, poverty around the world. Suitable for lessons in citizenship, PSHE, humanities and drama, the pack contains a video, posters, a game and other activites to help develop young people's sense of their roles as global citizens.
