Activity
4: Discrimination guidelines
This activity shows what can be done to combat racism. Andy Kiwomya,
a former professional footballer, explains what it's like to experience racism
as a child and the fear it can generate. He goes on to talk about his work educating
black young people how they can overcome the effects of racism and feel good
about themselves.

This project was undertaken by a group of school students in the US. Why not
try something similar in your local community: “(the group) …regularly visited
a local nursing home to learn more about the problems and rewards of growing
old. The students used the camera to ‘express their feelings and communicate
their ideas about the topic of gerontology’."
