We want to see change. Woodcraft Folk, in partnership with De Montfort University and the Centre for Alternative Technology are running a DEFRA-funded project. A team of volunteer young people has devised six events and created an interactive website to educate, inform and motivate other young people about climate change.

Today, we live more than ever in an interlocking world, where solutions have to be found by international co-operation and understanding to the problems created by globalisation.
Global Village took place in the summer of 2006, building for a fortnight in southern England a community of young people and adults working together with optimism and determination to change the world for the better.

The Woodcraft Folk's Sust'n'Able project about Sustainable Development began at our International Camp in 2001 and resulted in our delegation of young people attending the UN Earth Summit in Johannesburg. Visit the project site for educational resources, reports of our work, and info on how to get involved.

The Woodcraft Folk Heritage site is about the history of our movement since it started in 1925. It features over 6000 documents to browse through, educational activities to do online or at a group/school night, and 'Folk Friends', which helps you meet up with friends from Woodcraft over the years.
