Hamsterley Outdoor Centre

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Hamsterley Forest in the northern Pennines, often described as England's last wilderness, this self-catering centre is ideally situated for outdoor activities of all kinds.

Accommodation is made up of five dormitories with thirty beds in total. There are male and female toilets/washrooms and the centre (which is single storey) has wheelchair access and facilities (including shower and wc).

There are electric heaters and a woodburner in the central commonroom. The large kitchen is fully equipped but currently there are no washing machine facilties.

Up to ten small tents may be pitched in the centre grounds (no large tents).
