Wednesday, 23 August 2017

Next month Michael and Steve, from Mondelez International (or, as we know it, Cadburys) will cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise money for a number of charities, including Woodcraft Folk.

You can donate via their JustGiving page or by text to 70070, SMWF64,  £1 to £10. Every pound you donate will be matched by their company.

Their ride begins on Saturday the 9th of September in Lands End with possibly the hardest day - just over 8000 feet of climbing.
10th : Okehampton to Bath.
11th : Bath to Ludlow.
12th : Ludlow to Haydock.
13th : Haydock to Penrith.
14th : Penrith to Hamilton.  This day is dedicated to Woodcraft Folk.
15th : Hamilton to Fort William.
16th : Fort William to Kyle of Sutherland.
17th : Kyle of Sutherland to John O'Groats.

You can see a map of their route on Michael's blog. Is your district near the route? Are you going to be nearby when the cyclists go past? Get out and cheer them on - it will great publicity for us. There's a rumour they will display our logo on their wheels and Michael will be updating his blog during the ride - let's try to get some woodie photos on there.

Whether or not you can cheer them as they whizz past, you can still support their fundraising. Just visit justgiving.com/fundraising/Michael-Huggins8. Remember, every pound you donate will be matched by their company.
