EVS twinning with Stanley
Hands In! month inspired us to make new friends and twin with others in Woodcraft Folk.
We are EVS volunteers in London, and went to Stanley and met Angelica from Colombia and Eko from Indonesia. They are doing their EVS at The Activity Den in Stanley. We had a chance to spent a couple of days with them at Gwen`s and Steve`s house. It was a great time.

We had a chance to see the amazing place called The Activity Den. Unfortunately it was empty during our visit, because it was Sunday and Stanley people are waiting for a new heating system to be able to spend more time there in winter days. I wish I could join some events in this place in the future.
We also made a small tour in Durham, which is small old city with the cathedral and the castle and it has the University which is the third oldest in the UK.
Our twinning was very easy! We like Gwen and Steve and Eko is a good singer and entertainer and we had fun all the time. We found a way to speak with Angelica by using Google Translator. We spoke about the EVS and their feelings about the UK and cold in Stanley.

At the end we made an action plan for EVS cooperation (including Elvis, who is also based in London with us) and we are looking forward to meet them again in London. We would like to say big thank you to Gwen and Steve for inviting us. :)
