Come to Pride Camp!

Thursday, 20 July 2017

Want to learn about intersectionality, youth activism and solidarity, with people like you from Austria?

Then, come to Pride Camp!

Pride Camp is a collaboration between Woodcraft Folk and Kinderfreunde, Woodcraft’s Austrian partner organisation. This seminar will involve four days in London and four days in South Wales, following the story of the film ‘Pride’. There will be ten Woodies and ten young people from Austria.

You will be learning and training all around activism, politics, intersectionality and anti-discrimination, inspired by LGSTM (Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners) and the film 'Pride'. The project will be funded, as we have a grant from Erasmus, and so the whole thing will almost definitely be free.

This is an amazing opportunity to get to grips with activism and solidarity across different minority struggles, learn about the world and about yourself, and get inspired!
