Ymgynnull Blynyddol Gwerin 2004 / Gwerin Annual GPublished on Tuesday February 15 2005** Welsh first, please scroll down for English ** Cynhaliwyd Ymgynnull Blynyddol Gwerin (Fforwm Cymru, i ddefnyddio’r teitl ffurfiol) yn hostel ieuenctid y Borth ym mis Hydref y llynedd. Mentrodd oddeutu 35 o bobl drwy wyntoedd tymhestlog er mwyn bod yn bresennol. Yr ymgynnull hwn yw cyfarfod blynyddol Gwerin y Coed, ac mae’n rhoi cyfle i bawb sy’n aelodau o Gwerin ddod ynghyd am benwythnos. Mae’r Cyfarfod Cyffredinol Blynyddol yn rhan bwysig o’r ymgynnull hwn - y cyfarfod busnes blynyddol lle mae materion sy’n effeithio ar y mudiad yn cael eu trafod, a lle bydd pobl yn cael eu hethol i fod yn aelodau o gyngor Cymru. Eleni, cafodd y canlynol eu hethol i’r cyngor: Sue Crossley (Eryri), Janice Gillian (Penarth), Amanda Jones (Borth), Althea Harris (Eryri) a Emily Ashton (Eryri Vs). Cafodd Peter Boyd (Eryri), Bob Todd (Machynlleth), Grace Stuart a Naomi Bates (Eryri Vs) hefyd eu cyfethol i’r cyngor yn y cyfarfod hwn. Mae cofnodion llawn y cyfarfod ar gael os ofynnwch. Welsh Annual Gathering 2004The Gwerin Annual Gathering (formally called the Welsh Forum) was held in Borth youth hostel in October last year. Around 35 people braved gale force winds to attend. The gathering is the annual meeting of Gwerin Y Coed, and provides a chance for everyone in Gwerin to come together for a weekend. An important part of the gathering is the AGM—the annual business meeting were matters affecting the organisation are discussed, and people are elected to sit on the welsh council. People elected onto council this year were: Sue Crossley (Eryri), Janice Gillian (Penarth), Amanda Jones (Borth), Althea Harris (Eryri) and Emily Ashton (Eryri Vs). Peter Boyd (Eryri), Bob Todd (Machynlleth), Grace Stuart and Naomi Bates (Eryri Vs) were also co-opted onto the council at the meeting. Full minutes of the meeting are available on request. | ||||||||||||
