Jennie Heap, Shella and Denis’s
Daughter, tells us briefly about the family’s long connection with Woodcraft
Folk. “Mum and Dad were involved in the 1950's in Harrow and Watford
were they were leaders. They took part in many camps as well as group nights. They
were still in contact with friends from that time up to the end and hopefully
some of their old friends will be with us on 27th. I went on to be a leader of a Folk Group in
Thame for about 10 years and so the woodcraft message lives on through my
children who will be performing at the concert”.
