Powerpod Project Group Receives Environment Award

The Edinburgh Woodcraft Folk's Powerpod was recognised as the best environmental project of 2006 at a glittering ceremony in Glasgow City Halls. The group, represented by DF Gordon Bruce and Venturers Zoe Hutchison and Lindsey Riddoch, were presented with the Young Scots 2007 Environment Award by Justice Minister, Cathy Jamieson MSP and by a representative from the sponsors, Scottish Gas. As part of the award the group have been invited on a "green" day out at a wind farm in Aberdeenshire, as well as an outing to an adventure park.
